Maternity | Tulsa, OK | Woodward Park

Last week I was honored to capture a couple who will be expecting their first baby girl, Charlotte. Jennifer has the expectant glow about her, as I told her congratulations the sides of her mouth started to curl as she looked down and gently touched her growing belly. Their excitement shines through in all of these images, and I could not be more happy for them. They are about to start the best journey they could ever imagine, and they are going to love this little tiny human more than they thought they ever could. Parenthood is such a wonderful gift, and such a precious treasure. We were so lucky with the gorgeous weather as the sun was starting to set. The trees were on fire as the last of the sun kissed them goodnight. There was a light breeze as we finished up their session in the park and headed to their home, to the nursery. As I walked in I couldn't help but notice the peacefulness, with everything in its place, brand new and awaiting this little bundle. A stuffed animal in the crib for her to one day carry around, a blanket that she will one day not be able to sleep without, and a picture frame that will very soon have her smiling face frozen in that tiny square frame to always treasure. It was serene...dreamy... untouched. Only to soon be filled with coo's, laughter, and a whole lot of precious memories. Jennifer and Michael, I am so beyond thrilled for the two of you as you prepare for this next chapter, and I know it will be the best one yet. Congratulations again. xoxo
